I just recently got the Axiom 61 midi controller along with Ableton Live, version 4.
I was wondering if anyone knew step by step instructions on how to set it up.
For example, in preferences under midi, I have two Axiom inputs (in 1 and 2) and they are both checked green. Under output, it is my soundcard for playback.
When I hit a key, I can see that Live is accepting the signal because the MIDI Track IN Indicator flashes green. Maybe it's something small but how do I actually hear sound? I guess I need just the basics to get started.
But I don't know if I have to assign something on the midi controller itself or however. Please help!
