i taylored some of the tracks to music that some of the attendees liked, and i kept it changing up pretty fast as it wasnt a full on dance party around the campfire. i didnt have as much time to prepare as i would normally like and i was also pretty whiskey drunk (which doesnt happen often), but i feel like i pulled it off pretty well.
the tracks run a huge range of styles from disco funk to bluegrass to dub to brazilian beats to the price is right theme song, all mixed live, in live.
on a special note, the track "nashville cats" was especially pertinent because there were a lot of blugrass players from nashville there. in addition to that "mountain dew" is my drink of choice (especially when combined with whiskey!) so it created a pretty surreal moment where i was surrounded by guys with mandolins and guitars playing along and me holding up a mtn dew and a bottle of whiskey.
