few quick q's re live 6 arriving

hi all,

seem as though tommorow we can get l6 proper - cant wait. after the beta im gonna upgrade my l5 to 6 with sampler and operator.

my questions, is operator and sampler teamed with impulse the best way to go, ive got bogged down on having the latest/best plugs which when ive tried the demos thought i dont have a clue - operator is the first synth ive managed to use and understand so i think ill stick to it. keep everything simple for now and just get the music going, or am i going in the wrong direction here???

also gonna purchase 6 anyway (well upgrade) but im looking to get an imac soon, will i be able to just download the mac version of the upgrade as i have a boxed l5? (i know ill have to e-mail ableton as ill be dumping this pc so new unlock needed id guess)

while trying to hold back my praising for the first question :) i jump in for the second: sure, you can always download the latest installer for both operating systems.

ah cool, thanks, at least i can get on with l6 then, and when the time comes ill have to sort out migration to mac
