Live 6 Midi Mapping Bug

Hi...

I've got a big problem in Live 6 which just does not happen in 5. I have several tracks record enabled and I've mapped cc's from my midi footpedal to the each of the record enabled tracks relative session play buttons. Global Quantization is set to 4 bars and I'll hit the respective play button for whatever slot I want to record in and recording starts like normal after 4 bars. However, during the loop when I hit my footpedal again...to retrigger the play button for that track and therefore end the loop after the next 4 bars...the computer immediately locks up for about 5 seconds and then suddenly continues where it left off. Same EXACT set-up/track in Live 5 works no problems.

During one of the freezes, right before audio started playing again I noticed a very rapid CPU spike to about 75% and both midi message indicators used for remote controlling Live's user interface 'elements' were lit up.

Additionally, sometimes when I switch back and forth from midi mapping mode I get all kinds of weirdness...again...the computer will lock up momentarily and then once it starts back up, random tracks that weren't playing will begin to play. No rhythm or reason.

I'm using a Powerbook G4 1.33 ghz w/1.5 Ram...and Motu Ultralite...computer was cold-booted and still got the same problem everytime. Again...I had no problem looping this way in 5.02.

Don't know if this matters but:
Select Clip on Launch-On
Select Next scene on Launch-Off
Start recording on Scene Launch-Off
Loop/warp Short samples-Off
Auto-warping long samples-Off
Default Warp mode-Beats

Increasing latency didn't seem to make a difference.

I am using an Evolution UC-33 via Mackie Control emulation.

Please help as the biggest and best feature in 6 for me is the ability to 'Midi' Select clip on launch-so I can delete the clip I'm recording if get a less than perfect take.

Shoot...I guess I'm the only one with this problem.

I guess I should have labelled it under the major CPU spike which halts Live in the middle of a groove. Well, whatever...Live is way to buggy right now...they rushed to get it out and this is what you get for buying the first version upgrade. I just hope it works in the future.
