then temporarily rename Live's preferences file (do not delete it)
"/Users/USERNAME/Library/Preferences/Ableton/Live 6.0.1/Preferences.cfg"
to something like "Old_Preferences.cfg".
if you have a template Live set there, please also rename it to "Old_Template.als".
The start Live again, use the same audio settings like in Live 5 and check if it makes a difference.

I did it, and still didn't help... I was hoping that would work, but no luck.

MODDER1,
just to get sure, you have Live 5 installed on this machine too so that you can compare it to Live 6 everytime, right?

Sorted here, but still excessively high buffer setting for click-free crossfades.
My Impulse percussion is bad enough, but it doesn't need an additional 23ms delay to make it even worse!

I was chatting with someone and he was telling me that I should earse my prefrences.cfg file from my Live5, but the down of the is I lose all my settings from my live5 version. If I do this I will just lose my prefrence settings which I can just put back in?

At 128 samples, everything's sweet until I do a crossfade. Then all hell breaks loose. Only by increasing the buffer to 1024 (!) samples can I get click-free crossfades.
BTW, I had the similar problem with 5, so I guess it's down to the mLAN drivers for my Yamaha 01v.
