Panning general

Hi guys,

I am currently arranging a song, it consists of a few tracks comprising a beat and a bass line. Later I will add vocals and others.

I would like to pan the whole song in a nice way though, can someone tell me where I can find some genelar info / tips on panning of different instruments?

THank you

for a fairly straight forward mix i always think of the freq spectrum and sound placement as a big upside down triangle. hope that makes sense.

If you don't have many parts and you want to create a deeper stereo field you can simply double some of your parts and pan them left and right.
