It would have been my first year....... next year we will go for sure. Have fun!

Hey,

I'm going, last year totally blew me away. Your right Montreal is an amazing city....but the winters are truly brutal!!!

Were you there for the closing night with Mambotour, Monolake, and Narod Niki?

Yeah I was there. We were upstairs, dead center when the set FINALLY started. I was a little bass battered from Mambotours set by that point--the db's were obscene in that venue... but it was quite a spectacle. What was the highlight for you? I thought Deadbeat put on a hell of a show. Telefon tel Aviv was great too. STill, I think that overall 2002 was better. I would really consider moving to Montreal, but you are right about the cold. I just can't jive with that:)

Anyone got any insider info on who might be playing at the festival this year? Don't really know when they are gonna release the list. Surely somebody has heard some rumors....

skipping Mutek....though it would have been cool to see the Plastikman Live PA.......considering he has not done any live Plastikman material in many years.

I am actually going to WMC instead....leaving tommorow. Not that I chose 1 over the other......it just worked out this way. I am def. going to the Jeff Mills Exhibitionist event @ BED this Sunday....which is gonna be awesome.....good tunes, good food, good atmosphere. I think I am also gonna see Prefuse 73 play live....and thats gonna be all the parties I will be going to. Anyone else going to WMC?

I've been seriously considering going to Mutek - it'll be my first vacation in ages! Can't think of a better way to spend it than taking in what I hear is a great city and some great music.

I'll probably be going alone. Anyone interested in meeting up there, maybe talking some Live tech?
