transferring controlAid/midiStroke programs to another user?

transferring controlAid/midiStroke programs to another user?
i need to send a friend my controlAid and midiStroke programs.
do i just copy the applications from my HD to his, or are there special files?

Hi,
If your on OSX a direct copy from your drive to his vis Firewire (his drive in target disk mode) should be fine.
Just make sure your friend starts his new copy of the apps 1 time before you transfer and use setups. Just to be safe and make sure any preference files for the apps are created.

i was going to do it online.
can i just give him my installed copies of the apps and then he plunks em into his apps folder?

Sure that should work fine. Just send him zip files of the apps (they are both pretty small). Should be no problem.
Most OSX apps can be transfered in this way. Sometime apps install files in the Library. But if they are being run for the first time the system will create the necessary folders when first run.
