Hi,

Iv read thru the topics but no-one seems to have the same problem as me. I have a pc and a mac. im only on the net on my pc but use live on my mac. i downloaded the free 6 upgrade on my pc then transfered the file to my mac. but when i double click the icon it just says

the following disk images failed to mount

live601.dmg not recognized

can anyone help me to sort this out please?

you can neither simply copy the file from PC to MAC due to compatibility reasons, nor can you use the same unlock key for two machines (after all thats what this means of copy protection is all about)

What you will have to do:
when unlocking you are given the option to do so online or offline. So open Live on your mac, enter your serial and follow the instructions under unlocking offline.

.dmg is for mac.....you need to download the driver for Live 6 for use on PC...it's as simple as going back to the download page and setting -English (I assume lol) and then PC....it's not .dmg....I believe it's a .zip file that you can use a program like WinRar to unzip.......ENJOY!!!

:D
