Thanks so much for assuming all people of faith are the same. It is funny, really, Christianity is the only group left where it is socially acceptable to judge everyone based on the mistakes of the stupid few.

I really wish people would leave the youtube videos to youtube, and focus on music and AL6 here.

Seems like someone is tired of OT posts by bigots. The religion is an opiate/disease thing is played out and tired... I am just tired of people pointing at the fat housewives and Pat Robertsons of the world and telling me that they represent what it means to be a Christian. There are a lot of dumb Athiests, Jews, and Muslims out there, but I don't post topics pointing them out. It is such a cop out. I don't need to bash a certain group to be cool. I am what I am, and that's it. Don't tell me I have a mental disease because I believe in a higher power. In fact, Ableton is one of the tools I use to worship that higher power.

I mean, aren't there other forums on the web that deal with this stuff? How many versions of Ableton have to come out before I can discuss the program without seeing crap posts like this? Sad that such an awesome board is brought lower by a lack of focus.... I thought the release of v6 would help, but obviously not.

The responsibility is on the reader as much as it is on the writer.

The writer ends up sounding like an ass, or someone you learn to ignore. The reader gets offended and can often fall into hypocrisy, as in the the "I hate OT posts" thread that turns into a big huge ugly OT thread.

It only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch, it's like that with any group that's popular to dislike, lawyers, politicians, religious people, cops...
