Saving midi mapped PLUGINS

Post by bandybum2 » Thu Oct 05, 2006 9:26 am

How do you SAVE midi maps for plugins?

eg. An EQ plugin with 16 knobs. Midi controller knobs are assigned to these. All works well. Now, how do you store this as a preset and load it up in another track?

If not possible via standard midi mapping (why not?)....can this be achieved via Racks macro mapping ?

Can 2 racks control 8 knobs each of the SAME EQ plugin or only 2 seperate instances of the EQ plugin?

Does anybody know? Pleaseeeeee tell me this can be achieved.

All donations appreciated

Cheers

automapping the macros will work, but you cannot save your midi mappings on anything. it's a little sad but with automappings on macros you should be able to get by pretty good.

I don't know if you can map 2 racks worth of macros to one plug.... I'll try it right now...
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
