What kills me about religion in the world is that religious people make absolutely no room for people who aren't into religion. The 'other' viewpoint isn't even an option. Atheists always have to figure jesus huggers into the equation.

thanks heaps for that - I'm going to get that movie out, I'd forgotten how good it was - might be 15 years since I've seen it - genius
Watch the video again and look at the youngest childs face. That face is one of shear horror, horror at watching a obese adult woman screaming about the dark side! That is the true message of religion the fear of hell!!

I found the film pretty disturbing too. Never would've seen it if it hadn't been posted here. Try Googling to find her blog. Sure, she's got issues, but it sounds at least like she's aware that it wasn't her proudest moment.
Life gets stressful and people crack.
In contrast to all the wackiness, those Amish sure have been kicking butt this week.

The thing that sucks about evolution is that we lost the opposable fat toe. That would have come in real handy for drinkin' beer and fondling...

No need to trip, she's fine, they just captured a moment where she snapped. In that episode of the show she was put in a home in the Northeast US, a really down to earth family that's very spiritual but not christian. At one point they did a summer solstice party and she was freaked out, she connected that with witchcraft immediately. The host family had mandalas around the house and she didn't get it. That show works on the fish out of water scenario, she was totally shocked. Since then she's laughed about the whole thing, sold some 'screaming god warrior' dolls and had fun with it.
