weird echo?

hi all,

i am getting an echo whenever i play an instrument through line in, the rate depends on the latency buffer settings, i dont get this with anything else (soundforge etc)

i have recently bpought a new sound card and have exactly the same problem

please help!!

Proabably a simple feedback loop?
(your line-in feeds the output which feeds the line-in)
