Which "Electronic" Music Magazines Do You Subscribe To?

Post by psilopsyche » Fri Oct 06, 2006 9:44 pm

Hey everyone.

I'd like to check out / subscribe to some "electronic" music magazines and was interested in knowing what you think the cream of the crop are.

Thanks!

Only SOS now, Computer Music a couple of years ago (good for beginners, though expensive in the states).

I like XLR8R as far as electronic music mags go. It's not for music production although they do some gear reviews and feature some producers and their gear.

They cover several different genres but the focus is certainly electronic. They also feature reviews and some free mp3 downloads on their website.

i dont subscribe to any but, i buy future music (uk version only) every month.
alot of people put future music down with good reason.. almost in every issue you can find two article's that contridict eachother.. also they give alot of good advise but when it comes time for them to record video they never take there own advise.. almost every video has such terrible sound quality that i am adjusting the volume through out the whole video. But at least the magazine comes with a dvd full of samples and video (with terrible sound quality).
i would buy sound on sound if it came with a dvd, since it dont i just scan through it at borders..

Sound On Sound, easily.

Future music is pure trash by the way, its one big glorified advertisement from front to back.
