but actually, you prompted me to raise them a bit because I lowered them a whilae ago for some reason
I think it's because to make up for the completely pathetic lack of bass in NS10s I have the bass up or loudness on, and at ear height it seems to be just a little uncomfortable directly in fornt, but without the bass boost I cant hear the bottom end at all
NS10s are shit like that - something like 60Hz low range

I had the same problem with Imageshack. Try Photobucket.com; simpler--and it works.

Absolutely right, Machinate! And a serious pain in the ass, it is. This setup is a big improvement over my previous layouts, but I still don't have enough space (you can't see the three boards leaning up against the wall behind the chair). I'm also waiting for a Novation Remote Zero SL (if they ever release the damned thing in the US) and the equally ethereal Akai MPD24--and I haven't a clue where they'll go when they get here. But still--it's the first time I've had an entire room for my rig, so I'm loving it. (Gets hot like hell in here, though.)Machinate wrote:I think that was the ergonomic issue, Forge...

Norah Jones: Live in New Orleans [love concert videos even more]
Wag the Dog [sometimes you gotta do something else...]

Not much of a setup, but good enough for me (though I'll definately shop for speakers and a more recent interface soon (hows the TC konnekt, b.t.w.?). Not in the picture: guitars and basses, piano.
And here's my ugly face (left, right is my beautiful wife):
