Automatic Clip Color Bug
Automatic Clip Color Bug
Am I the only person that has all new clips assigned the hideous dark brown color in the Live 6 default skin? The auto-assign new color function is not working for me. Anyone else?

hmm, odd.
It's fine here. Or at least I get different colours.
IfI double click down a column of a midi track I get random colours
If I record a succession of clips in an audio track I get the colours automatically assigned like this:
brown (colour 12 in the pallete)
orangey brown (colour 1)
muddy orange (colour 2)
swamp green (colour 3)
etc, etc (4,5,6,7)
is that different from what you get?
I am on a PC

that's something i've noticed. if you have more than one clip in a track, the colours vary. if you are working horizontally, they turn up all one colour. this happens if you record midi, but not if you create the clip by clicking.nebulae wrote:I'm on a PC, and if I add track after track and record clips into them, be it midi or audio, it's almost always dark or muddy brown.

I have had the same problem. Regardless of preference settings: Clips recorded into Scene 1 are always reddish-brown, Scene 2 reddish-brown, scene 3 yellowish-brown.
Odd thing is that clips dragged from the browser do respond to preferences, but not newly recorded clips.
What gives?
