per selection n-plet grid

dear abletons,

I would like to have a per-selection n-plet grid.

I often create beats or rythmic patterns using the arrangement view. In these occasions a way to have a grid subdivided in 5-plets (7-plets 11-plets etc...) to place my beat portions would be very useful.

i imagine something like selecting a part of the arrangement view and then going to Options -> N-plet Grid and specifying a subdivision in a dialog box. The result would be that portion of a bar (or bars or more than a bar) subdivided in the number of grids i specified.

nowadays i have to work with warp markers to make n-plets, but it is somewhat complicated and in some cases, especially with acoustic material warping is not the best sounding solution.

what do you think ?
