Logic 6 and Live 3 Midi via Rewire

In Logic 6.3.3
Open a Logic Environment Window
Under the New menu , pick Internal/Rewire.
That will create a Rewire 'control' instrument.
Select the new instrument and you will get 3 options under 'Dev' in the
parameters windos.
One of the 3 options is 'Ableton Live' , another is 'Reason'.
These object are there to send Midi information from the Rewire host (logic) to
the Rewire
slave (Reason , Live etc...)
Selecting these Rewire Midi instruments in the Arrange window allows you to
control
Rewire applications , via Midi , from Logic.
Now:
the Reason internal object works as expected. I move my mod wheel on my keyboard
,
while in Logic , and the mod wheel of the designated Reason instrument moves in
perfect
sync.
The Live object doesn't work. I'd like to trigger or toggle samples in Live on
off , while
working in Logic , without resorting to external Midi interfaces. It should work
, but it
doesn't.
So is it a bug , or the channel/bus (again in the parameters window of the
selected rwire
midi instrument) combination I'm using is the wrong one?
Anyone got this to work?

I am having the same problem and it seems that it just doesn't work. I cannot trigger live from logic with midi notes. I want to use live as a sampler controlled by logic and cannot get this to work.

I will post a bug.

the sending from MIDI messages from any ReWire master application to Live as the ReWire slave is currently not (yet) supported. It's on our long list and we hope to have this soon.

yes we are all waiting to this:control live by midicontrollers and keyboard when we play logic audio instruments.I have the same problem.Or what would be nice:Live master and Logic slave rewire.But Logic can't be slave rewire

couldn't one just use OSX midi's IAC?
(use ReWire just for audio & transport..)
Logic is better in many ways at mixin anyways..
