I'm finding my midi notes being used to trigger AU instruments are sometimes being cut short when the CPU starts to hit beyond 40%. This is not the case for Ableton instruments. So far this is the case with Kontakt, MTron and Reaktor. I say sometimes as it seems to be random. It's even more frequent when I Freeze the track as it almost always cuts off the end of notes. If the CPU is below approx 40% it plays fine.

yeah i found that too with the korg legacy vst's, I also found that it had the beep (like the metronome) on the first note in some cases!!

With further investigation.. I've found that it only relates to disk streaming. When loaded into RAM it's ok. I'm in now way overlaoding the disk.. I'm only dealing with fairly basic Sample instruments that don't have many layers or voices. Loading into Ram is not really an issue for me as I have plenty of it. Just curious as I don't seem to remember having this issue with 5.
