curious about previewing behavior in arrange

i've recently noticed that if i'm previewing in the browser,

by clicking at certain points towards the right of the arrange window, that the previewing file "skips ahead" to a later play position.

sometimes if i continue clicking around that area, i can get it to keep switching play positions. sometimes not

since it does not seem to be consistent behavior, maybe it's not meant to happen? not to mention that i've never noticed it before.

i don't like it either. i want to be listening to the preview while i'm doing other editing, but my clicking in the window keeps skipping the song around

Sounds like a bug. Though i REALLY wish ableton would implement a play position slider at the bottom of the browser for us DJs.

i'd always imagined clicking along the preview status bar which shows time remaining in the preview,
