[rsu] Live6 - bug

I got my new Macbook a few days ago.
There is not much installed on this machine until now.
I have Logic Pro 7 and Live 6. And Boot camp / Windows XP installed.

I created a new set and imported some song files and tried to
mix some song like i did many times before with Live 5 and
suddenly Live disappears from the screen. And away it is. wow!
I mean this is a very serious bug. I wanted to use it on a JD gig next
week. But now i should wait for the next upgrade.
I got this two times until now.

Since there was this bug in the Version 5 that it got glitches after
approx. 70 minutes of continuous playing live i tried it several times
to contact Ableton, getting some question about my situation and
then getting no answer, i hoped that Live 6 will solve these problems.

Hmm, i have to wait again.

~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Live.crash.log

and if yes, send it to [email protected]
together with a reference to this thread?

Hello hodge,

unfortunately the crash log contained no usable
indication of what the reason could be. In the end
it may be anything, from driver problems to
OS problems to MIDI device problems to Live bugs
to Hardware problems.

The only way to get forward with this would be to
have it reproducable here at Ableton, or at least on
your machine with a detailed information
on the conditions under which it happens.

the exact same thing is happening to my comuter as well, i have a macbook pro and live 6 just dissapears without warning during simple playback. just this morning it started crashing when i try rendering audio to my hard drive EVERY TIME in the exact same manner...this is extremely anoying since all i do is wake up and go to my computer and make music. anyway its not just your computer, its something wrong with the software

So you have it reproducible? Could you please send the crash-log
and the set that crashes Live self-contained to [email protected],
referring to this thread, with a description of what you did before it crashed?
