You can load a sample into sampler by dragging a simpler preset into a sampler zone.
But it doesn't keep the loop settings.
Which means, if you have 5 perfectly looped simpler waveforms that you want to load into sampler, you will need to set the loop settings again.
Or make a rack of simplers, but without fm, etc....
