Hi, i'm running live 5.2 on my intel macbook pro. I have just downloaded the supertrigger vst plugin and for some reason it does not show in my plugins folder, when i rescan live does not detect it. I have also had this same problem with some other vst's ive downloaded - all of which are compatible with OSX and intel based macs.
Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

have u enabled the vst / AU plugins in the prefs?
are u running live 5 intel version?
otherwise ur running it thru rosetta, which might also explain why u dont see ur plugs.

VST and AU plugins are enabled, and im running the intel version yes. It doesn't seem to make any sense.
Anyone else have any ideas?

do any other plugins that you have installed work?
i have run live 5.2 > 6 with 3rd party intel plugins (including some smartelectronix plugs), no probs. i am also using a MBP... so it should work fine.

the universal binary is audio unit only, it says so on their site.
look in your audio unit folder.
