No sound on master channel

[Mac G5 Quad / OSX 10.4.8 / Live 6.0.1]

-- Mac being "woken up" from sleep mode, when I started playback of a set, all the channel level meters would show activity, but no sound was going to the master channel (no activity shown on the master's level meters either).
-- Checked, if any track was set to solo maybe, but that was not the case.

-- Reloaded the live set, then it worked.
