WinXP-Live 5.2.2/Reason 3.0.4 and Rewire 1.7 Not Working?

Hey everyone, I've loaded these on my laptop and now attempting to use Reason in Live via rewire is going nowhere. Reason begins to launch and just hangs. It runs fine stand alone. Has anyone else run into this? I'm wondering if there is a compatibility issue with Live's rewire engine and Reason's update (1.7). Any help is greatly appreciated.

i was not able to install the 1.7 rewire. it farked up my computer and i had to reinstall reason 3.0.4
