my file menu is missing
my file menu is missing
i think i hit something in Live 5 that made my file menu at the top "hidden", and when i upgraded to L6, its the same way. I cant find the preference to bring it back! ive tried a bunch of keyboard shortcuts also, no luck.
am i missing something?
yeah, im feelin pretty dumb right about now.

im talking about the OS based menu that's across the top of the screen (MAC OSX). where you access File/Save As and exporting commands... that is the menu that is missing...
please help!? this seems silly that i cant get it back

Re: my file menu is missing
Same bullshit happened to me--and my window was so fucked there wasn't that miniature arrow bottom right, so I kept pressing command/function/option etc. + f11 and this is what worked for me. . .
alt/option + f11
resized my entire screen to an appropriate size.
hope that helps : )

It’s def the little tiny thing at the bottom right of the screen — if your problem was that you couldn’t see the File menu.
