play back of prelisten files not in sync [live 6]

am i missing something but the play back of pre listen files is out of sync in live 6 and i can find any options that would trigger the sync in the prefs. is this a bug?

delay plugin compensation needs to be on.

its not set as on as default in live 6. once it is set everything is fine.
