unless I'm from Rwanda or sudan right?
That's so far from the truth or fact, I shouldn't even be posting.

The us is the number one country of volunteers/aid/relief.

Africa is far far more corrupt than anyone gives notice to. It's pretty damn hard to help a nation/nations in that area when they don't even want it.
my point is more about government - governments everywhere are corrput - including dubbyas

the aid etc is mostly down to the american people

the point in question was about military assistance

Has anyone considered that ol' George may be experiencing a medical issue that has affected his speech and comprehension? If you look at any of his debates as govenor of texas ten years ago and earlier it is obvious that he's got a serious problem since he became president. Sad really. Kind of makes you feel guilty for making fun of a handicapped person all these years.

actually, that just agrees with me.......which is why I jump into these things .......

Isn't it time to stop "blurping" about and to get down to it? All this side taking and such......isn't that really the problem?

which is what 99 percent of world leaders from all countries around the world do..........and have since we have been taping/had the ability to do so.

there are some exceptions.......but by and large the current bush is not the rule......just another "addition" to it.

Ok......and I'm hoping for once someone......anyone......tries to understand.......

despite what everyone on this forum thinks of me, I am not some right-wing bush lovin' SOAB........I just can't have 42 years of history behind me and single him out. There are too many others that were worse!

This is more or a problem of people wanting to be right than know the truth.

for (place your faith here)'s sake, it's time to get the facts straight......it's time for us to stop this "one person is to blame crap" and get on the same page.

it's time to evolve and to stop petty shit and being so opinionated and to be for true peace.

It should be ok for anyone to say anything they want but for there never EVER to be violence!

Ok.........i'm going too far.......

newcueler is a valid regional pronounciation (look it up), even if technically incorrect. jimmy carter, who had been a captain on a nuclear sub, pronounced it pretty much the same way as bush. so you can't claim it's ignorance, it's a regionalism. whether it makes sense for bush to adopt/reflect that regionalism is a different question.

(as for the change in w's communications style post-governorship, most reports indicate it's deliberate -- there's some quote about w claiming after some debate that he would never be out-folksified or whatever by someone else.)

Hey, the guy sounds like a goofball when he speaks, that's all i took this thread to be about.

Of your 42 years of historical expertise, can you think of a President who fumbled on his words more than Bush? I would love to hear it, because that link I posted cracks me up

Dr. Emmett Brown: Then tell me, "Future Boy", who's President in the United States in 1985?
Marty McFly: Ronald Reagan.
Dr. Emmett Brown: Ronald Reagan? The actor?
[chuckles in disbelief]
Dr. Emmett Brown: Then who's VICE-President? Jerry Lewis?
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

reagan was a far more "attacked" president than either bush......according to the "world" talk, he was going to nuke the planet........a real war monger........

In the end he single-handedly ended the cold war....and is probably the reason we don't (yet) live in a neckular waste land........er, and with some luck too........

In the United States in different regions people talk with different accents

George Bush is from Texas which has a different dialect than say, Mississippi or even Alabama - he just talks with a different accent / dialect - that's all

Like some people say PA LEASE while others say PO LEASE - I say PO LEASE

Some parts of the country accentuate different vowels - northeast I noticed they accentuate the O and U and out here it's a lot of A's and E's

it's just the way he talks
