MACKIE D8B AND ABLETON LIVE

Hi i am thinking about buying a mackie d8b as an all in one to control ableton live and for my ins and outs but i am unsure if its compatable...?
Has anyone anyone used one as a controler ,is there a template, how do i set it up ,can i save my own templates..?????????

please help .

I haven`t used one but I do have a Mackie Universal Controller. I recommend you check www.mackie.com they should have the info in the fax section. Or someone will come along good luck.
