Filter Automation Glitch?

Hi,

Why can't one assign a knob on the Trigger Finger to the lil' yellow ball on the auto filter plugin? You can assign it to any of the controls on the right hand side control panel but it is that lil' yellow ball that you need to do a proper filter sweep..we need a solution here, I reckon. Any ideas? Cheers.

the yellow ball controls freq and res. try mapping the data fields instead.
