Yamaha RM1x and Live + Reason MIDI synch issues

Anyone know if there is a way to get my RM1X to synch up a little tighter with live running reason as a rewire slave.... It's really not too in synch at the moment.

bad news for you : i have a rm1x and i struggled to sync it with live. i tried everything and couldn't get it to work reliably. sometimes it did work then next day it would drift. now my rm1x sits unused in a corner of the studio

I have never had any problems with my RM1x.

I however sync it upto Ableton live instead of Reason... maybe that's why?

Have you tried going through a host with sync controls?.. It's possible that reason is whats losing sync?

lOVEMAFIA what version of live do you use because in version 1.5 the sync with Rm1x was great but when Live 2 came out the sync went crazy I haven't tried to sync to live 3 anyone have sync problems with live 3 and up

I have successfully synced my electribes to live...

Maybe the RM1x is different, but I found the electribes drifted horribly until I finally got the input latency straigtened out along with fixing the midi latency.

Also it appears that latency settings are different depending on wether you are monitoring in live or not.
