I saw the first four minutes (out of 10),
its this really grainy video of a dude in a balaclava - wearing a pair of oakley shades beneath, the type with a kind of psychedelic sheen to them. He bobs his head around a bit, like he's talking - and he's using some kind of filter to mess up his voice - just like in the movies when spies call each other up or kidnappers want millions of dollars, and for some reason he's got some reverb going on too.

the video title is "we raped and killed civilians - a US navy SEAL confession"

I'm on dial up, so bandwith is precious....four minutes was enough for me, besides I dont need boobtube videos to mold my political standing, theres enough real evidence of military malpractise to get concerned about these kind of potentially/probably? bullshit videos.

err_eur has an awful habit of saying shit that he deletes later, after he sobers up probably - or comes down from the glue hit.

shame really, because I often agree with his intentions...but his delivery needs work, he could start by ditching the massive text - he just alienates everyone with that shit

you hit the nail on the head, haha

the video was a person claiming to be a former Navy Seal
(that is using some software to pitch-shift his voice down a few keys, very creepy, the kind they use on "EXPOSE" shows when they are interviewing subjects who wish to remain anonymous....)
claiming to have killed many innocent civilians under direct orders from his superior in unnamed villages in an unnamed area of "the middle east"...

after reading that the Bush administration JUST 2 days ago passed those "laws" or whatever they are called basically overriding habeus corpus in any U.S. government activities with "detainees", among other things, I just think it would be wise for me, being an american "citizen" to stay away from being directly associated with any weird shit, especially on the internet. The interpretation of "terrorist" and "enemy combatant" has become so ambiguous and open to any interpretation that the powers that be feel is appropriate....that I hear stories of protesters and critics of the administration having been arrested and "taken away", no shit, by people I would consider to be credible sources.....I have no idea how much truth there is to any of it, but you know you wouldn't want to be caught talking shit on the Nazi's in Nazi Germany!!!!! Who knows what's really going on, it isn't good, that's for sure....

so i decided to take the link down after watching it again and reflecting on it a little more.....do a search on youtube and you'll find it....

So your saying that Bush has the power to make people dissapear and can bend laws to his will but can't remove a video from Youtube.

no, thats not what he's saying.

he's saying its not a good idea to be posting stuff like this in Americas political climate, where the word 'terrorist' is becoming more and more flexible in its interpretation. almost any kind of dissent pertains to terrorism these days, is his point.
