well...for EQing or minor sound adjustments I'd say, you never know what kind of PA you're gonna play on....so I'd say he just needs to make a few little changes to get it sounding nice, something he couldnt do with itunes ?

just a guess...

haha...that sucks.

when friends of mine got their first sound system, they did a night with a couple of hip-hop DJ's....and they fucked up the sub woofers by unplugging cables without muting the channels...

whats the etiquette in that situation ? I'd be -pissed-

dunno, but that was a terrible night with getting our hire van clamped even though the owner of plastic people said we were allowed to park outside, which resulted in us paying for fines and not being able to take our hired stage equipment back which resulted in more fines... and the owner still has all that gear apparently, so he won, not us.

fucker...I hope you plan on causing some material damage to him somewhere down the line. It wont get your money back, but at least you can get some satisfaction for the money the experience cost you.

i think a 10:1 ratio is fair enough. ripped off for 1k, cause 10k worth of damge. keep your hands clean and dont get caught. patience is a virtue.

t'was a learning experience, and we've moved on and do things more cautiously now... I still think it's a good venue, saw four tet play there last week, but I don't think we ever held nights to make money, just to put on great gigs and have fun. losing money in one area gets generated by recieving money in another.

Very mature solution there b0unce. Maturity that shows through on your political posts and your tolerance of people with viewpoints different than your own.

lol...oh the irony. Mr Pro-israel, Mr two soldiers kidnapped = lebanon turned to rubble. Dont get on your high-horse about disproportionate retribution. thats pretty much your entire political philsophy.
