Remote SL & Manual Templates for Live 6

Hi All,

I recently bought Remote SL. I like the automapping in Live 6 but want to create manual templates for specific tasks.

Is there a place I can download user manual templates for Live?

How do I create a new manual template? Can I use all CC numbers? are there any predefined CC numbers I can't use? Is is correct to assign some range of CC numbers to all my Remote's knobs, buttons etc and then start teaching Live?

don't think so, keep in mind you need the template files and a .als that's mapped to them

not to be a dck, but read the manual, it's laid out in there very plainly

yes. just start at cc#0 and work your way up. for me the PC software has worked great but it's not difficult to program by hand either.

you can download a manual editor program from the Novation website. its specific to the SL range and works very well

I just needed to know if Live doesn't already map specific CCs that I can't use. From your answer I understand that I can use which CC that I want. BTW, I already read the manual
