i've been wishing for the same thing...

marcus popp's 'process' app is pretty genius in this respect. the simplicity of his graphic object-oriented arranger/sequencer was very eye opening, the potential of using flash for audio did come to mind. he had a machine setup in an art gallery here in nyc a couple years ago where i spent a couple hours playing w it, brilliant. never seen anything so free as that arranger app.
it's so arranger specific though that all clip preperation must all be done ahead of time, very focused on live arrangability. objects are influenced by tools in an interesting way where plugs become tools so you select tool and rollover object for 'on', no tracks, just objects in a field w a p/b cursor on each one. still, very deep control w clever save/recall functions, user definable object placement templates, etc. i heard a couple years ago he was going to make it commercially available but no word.

Two problems. Don't know if these issues have been addressed as yet, but the last demo I checked out:

1) Option-drag to make a copy didn't work on the Mac. I can put together beats very rapidly in Acid etc using this method. I hate having to go to a menu for this.

2) I need more quantize options. Please add 12, 24, 64 etc for doing triplets, swing, and fine shifts.

Blaknoize,

1): Option-drag does work: drag w/o modifier held; drop with modifier held. We know Macintosh users find this confusing and will change it accordingly.

2): Will be in the next major release.

Cool! Will definitely be buying it then. That's all I was waiting on.
