Dynaudio BM5As!
Dynaudio BM5As!
I just picked up a pair of these to replace my Genelec 2029+7050 sub combo. Oh my friggin god! where have these monitors been all my life? I just can't believe these were only $900 with tax out the door at Guitar Center. I keep thinking I still have sub plugged in, but nope. Seriously, I think this is the best $900 I have ever invested in my studio.

Dynaudio makes incredible speakers.
I had 2 sets of their car audio speakers in my last car.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!! $900 is an excellent price. They were far more expensive where I live. Maybe the price is lower these days. I myself have the Mackies HR824. I am quite happy with them, but at the time I bought them I would have prefered the Dynaudio but couldn't afford the extra money. I was in a hurry to get some monitors. Perhaps I should have been more patient, though I can't complain too much with what I have got.

Not to be a stick in the spokes, but....
I've heard the BM5A my fair share of times and I'm just not into them. If you bought them and you love them then all is well in the world! But for me they don't cut it. The BM6A is a different story. I dig those.
I'm still saving up for a white pair of Genelec 8030As.
