Import/Makin layers in Sampler; "AUTOFUNKTION" missing?!

Post by peterb » Thu Oct 19, 2006 1:38 pm

Hi!
I am cutting up samples and want to Import them to "SAMPLER".
But it takes so much time to difine the key range for each one!
Is there not a "auto"-function, like in Logic exs-24; you can choose that they map automatically like "drums"; one note each, or two notes each or something?

There should be:-)

+1

Struggling with the same. If ou want the sampler just to load a bunch of samples they should not remap to root key.

This should be improved and should not be too difficult to program ...

You can sort ascending or descending or distribute equally.

or you can arm the track, press a key on a midi keyboard and double click the sample's zone. the zone will shrink to the pressed key.
and there's another trick using Alt to set the root key.
