And I came across a loop that came from an old keyboard that I had when I was a kid, it was pretty cool to be reminded instantly about hours of messing around with sounds that I had completely forgot about. Anyone else have any recent sounds that bring back memories.

hells yeah, meef.
i've been feeling that too.

But what's been getting me even more is that I have macMame and a metric fuck-ton of roms. I've been soundflowering the sounds into live and using em as percussion of sampler fodder. sooo much fun. last one thart blew my mind was "bubbles" I remember playinig that game for HOURS as a kid and begging my pops for more money for quarters....
and the sounds are off the meters!

Might I interest you in the Super Mario Synth to easily extrapolate those one shots for some fresh samplerific fodder for your 8bit tunage........

I use ZSNES. What's good about it is that you can mute different layers of the audio using the F5 - F12 keys. Perfect for sampling.

it's cross platform, you should be able to find it with a google search for nintendo vst osx
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
