It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

here's the results from the battle i was in: http://www.zeroplate.com/laptop

atl, shawty.

i actually wasn't that impressed by dude. a few cc assignments and a loaded sampler and just thrashing away... granted he's got chops, but where's the struture?

if i was him i'd rewire into live and record loops of it so i could jam out like that and then jam on something else while triggering what i just created infront of people live.... that always makes people go insane.

like when The Secret Life (my old band) would "run out of beats" we'd get an unsuspecting audience member to come up and give us beats via beatboxing and we'd sample it into live then run it thru beatrepeats and subatriggas.... lots and lots of fun!

word to live idm regardless

he can play out beats on a keyboard and change effect parameters.

If that's a joke, it's a good one; if not, I think you're missing the point?

That was pretty cool, but I wasn't blown away. He never seemed to get a cohesive thing going - some of the beats were cool, but he never built on any of them...and the effects stuff...it was kinda interesting for about a minute, but reminded me of the shit I used to do with a guitar & a digital delay...
