Hi all,
I've been using live 5.0.3 on an old PC for a while and it was OK. I've now bought a shiny new MacBook and installed Live 5.2 - however, all my files I've imported have had their warp markers completely messed up. For example a track which was warped correctly for DJing with a start marker near the beginning, will now open with the start marker 3/4 of the way though and the warp markers all messed around beyond that. Anyone else had similar? I'm not too keen on the prospect of re-warping my library again...
Cheers,
~Pev
Live 5 (PC) to Live 5.2 (Mac/x86) - Warp markers trashed...
Hm - not sure about that. I copied them via a removable hard drive so they should have been preserved correctly in both contents and filename. I'll double check this evening and post back.db wrote:hi pev, when you copy your files over from PC to Mac, make sure you also copy all the .asd files next to your audio files. Make sure these files don't get renamed (e.g. when copied via a file server when the file name is too long)
Cheers,

Hm, I just went through about 40 files from my old machine - all had the .asds included with them. Maybe 5 decided to do this completely stuffing the warp markers, and a few more imported with the warp markers intact, but skewed around a beat or so offset to where they were originally!
I'll copy all my files and experiment with duplicates to see if there are any that can do this reproducably for you.
