post your skins here

Post by peeddrroo » Tue Oct 24, 2006 6:29 pm

right, so now that we're able to make custom skins thanks to matt (yeaaaaah), let's share them.
here is my first (and probably last, since i'm happy with it) attempt

Image

you can download it here
http://download.yousendit.com/24E3A13D2E8BEB11
i'll put it on a permanent link soon

the idea was to have a rather dark skin, but with bright highlighted elements. this is useful to me when playing live in order to have a strong focus on which scene/track is currently selected.
i also wanted to leave most of Live's colours untouched.

the only weak point i saw is when you select a slot on impulse, and then click somewhere else, you can't see the name of the slot anymore. but i can live with that.

it does actually look much better in Live than on the picture...

unified mac skin

Post by Joelb » Wed Oct 25, 2006 1:25 am

Sort of a mac unified skin with a few mac like colours here and there. I use "UNO" (macupdate) to unify my mac theme to get the gradient at the top of the window.

Ableton theme:

Nice! This is the only one I've seen that I would conceivably use although I think I'll still stick with "default"
