PROGRAM/BANK change messages not working!

I am having exactly the same problem here.

I'm trying to get a Nord G2 Modular and 2 electribes to receive program changes from Live.

I spent the last week reading manual and various forums on this subject.

Hey Needs2Know, have you sorted this out?

Because I seem to not be able to get any program change data saved in the session. I closed it and openened it many times. And just like you said before sometimes it works, but more often it doesn't.

I discovered that despite the fact that my electribes have 4 banks with 64 programms, Live is only capable of controling 2 banks of 128. Which makes it really confusing, but at least it worked... for a little while.

What do you do when it stops working?

This is very frustrating. I am a Logic Pro user and I bought Live so I could start performing my music live. It seems though the only people not having trouble with this are those who don't dother with out-board gear. Poo! How disappointing!

you can set any clip to send bank/program assignments...
i can sens program changes fine *usually* but NEVER has it worked with bank changes (on my nord rack 3).
here's a thread with some tidbits (i want to see about that LSB/MSB stuff), havent tried out everything yet, i just realised that thread had been alive and kicking after giving up long ago.

i said it *usually* changes programs just fine, but not always... seems a bit buggy if you aks me.
