Easier question: Has anyone used live 6 with the digi 002?

not exactly the 002 but the mbox2 pro, which works fine with live 6.
(except the "zero" latency monitoring feature, which is only availalbe with Pro Tools)

I´m user of a Mbox, ´n I have one or two issues.
But It´s fine to me.

It must be a specific problem with the 002; possibly even the combination of the 002 with the intel mac.

I'm guessing they may have tested live 6 with the mbox thinking that would be representative of all digidesign hardware.

When I use PTools, no problems at all...

I don`t think they tested properly the Mbox with the software

I think you're right actually. I think its the core audio driver with live. Has anyone gotten this to work with an intel mac?

Yes it seems it was the driver.

Apparently Core Audio needed to be upgraded from 7.1.1 to 7.1.1cs2.

See if that works for you.

i use live with a 002r altho not on intel...
have to say i find the digi drivers complete shite!
if i quit LIVE/close core audio it doesnt free up the 002r
unless i power cycle it...

digidesign is like a spolit 3 year old that doesnt
know how to play with other kids
