how to connect ableton to the pioneer djm 800

can someone please tell me what it is that i need to do this? is it the MOTU UltraLite. has anyone had any experience with the MOTU, any help would be great searched the net for ages and couldnt find the answer, or maybe a suggestion of what you would actually reccomend would be much appreciated. thanks all...

uhm...

what exactly is it you want to do? I assume that you have some sort of computer, a motu ultralite and the djm 800? If so, have you read the manuals for these products, especially the mixer? I find it hard to believe that there isn't a nice graphical chart explaining the neccesary connections in there.

Please elaborate.

hi there, sorry i didnt explain i have a standard Acer laptop with a duo processer and standard sound card with ableton installed, i also have a djm 800, my confusion is how to make the two communicate! i would be looking for something fairly high end in the market of whatever it is that makes this communication possible. thanks for you swift reply...

lol ah man surely not, but i have the midi cables but they obviously cant be plugged straight into the laptop. just need to know what i need to plug the cables into the laptop!! :? :?
