point is simple what is rmx? preset drum patterns. Awesome sound quality too.

i can tell their is no winning with you considering you use rmx and reason. its all about battery.
not sure I follow you...you mean Native Instruments Battery "Sampling" Software??? which comes with over 12GB's worth of 23,000 professional drum samples???

what's your point?

you're idea of what hip hop is completely inaccurate. Yes, one school of hip hop production is heavily about sampled material. However, that is not true of all hip hop music. In fact, it's not even close to true. Today, more and more hip hop is produced entirely from scratch rather than using any sampled phrases. Listen especially to west coast "hyphy" stuff, and southern "crunk" stuff. All done by programming. Synths and drum machines or their virtual equivalents. Now, remember, that doesn't automatically make the music good, but i'm just pointing out that you clearly have no fucking idea of what is up with hip hop production.

first of all i was talking about the track BT did hip hop phenomon. Second of all the stuff you are talking about is garbage. Hyphy, Crunk. . That shit is terrible. I rather hear stuff by cold cut, shadow, qbert. Back to your e40 and young joc.

BT's stuff can be fun to listen to if you're rolling, but then again what isn't?

 I think there are ALOT of people who would disagree with you on the sound quality of Stylus RMX...it happens to be made by the same company that puts out Atmosphere and Trilogy...oh wait, those apps probably aren't up to your standards either

Just let me know when you want me to stop making you look like a moron

Any software tool for doing beats is only as good as the quality of the drum samples you put into it and most importantly the skills the producer has for putting the beats together.

coldcut has revolutionized electronic music over the years...

they are true innovators and put on an amazing live set. they were one of the first to really sync up the audio with the visual...

and i also adore them as people!

Come back when you have an argument that is worth a shit...

Looks like BT is just free-stylin with some stuff in the video...having fun with Ableton and his stutter toy...

The stutter toy is probably an adaptation of the D-Beam that Roland uses on the Fantom synths...ultrasonic sensor that links the sensor measuring the distance and movement of his hands to some sort of envelope that controls the stutter.

yeah man, i can't trust the opinion of anybody who'd rather listen to cold cut than e-40.

and like i said before, i don't really think it has antyhing o do with talent. Are cold cut talented? sure. Does that mean they are any good IMO? nope. sounds like fuckin grocery store music to me, just like bt does.
