Can't turn"ON" Multi processor support in LIVE6 preferences.
I got a Dell Inspiron 1.67 Intel core duo laptop but I can't turn on multi processor support in Live 6 preferences . What's up with that ? It's like the buttons don't even work.

I have the same CPU as you, multiprocessor support works fine here.frankie123 wrote:YOU ONLY HAVE ONE PROCESSOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!RushinSteele wrote:I got a Dell Inspiron 1.67 Intel core duo laptop but I can't turn on multi processor support in Live 6 preferences . it doesn't matter if you have one processor or not actually, I only have one processor and it still lets me turn it on in preferences. silly isn't it?frankie123 wrote:YOU ONLY HAVE ONE PROCESSOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!RushinSteele wrote:I got a Dell Inspiron 1.67 Intel core duo laptop but I can't turn on multi processor support in Live 6 preferences . It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

I only have one processor, and this is greyed out for me. I thought it was a nice design, allow the program to recognize if you are multi-processor or not. Then, allow the program to respond to that, but if core-duos are having issues, that is probably not good.

oh I take back what I said, it's greyed out on me too. I remember specifically during the beta period it allowed me to turn it on all throughout the betas even though I didn't have multicore. I asked them about it and they said it doesn't matter if it's on or off for me so I might as well not mess with it hehe.

Yeah, in the initial betas, you would be able to turn it on or off, regardless if you had it or not. But not now. I think it is good design, if it works. If you have a multi-processor and it doesn't wokrk, that is pretty crap.
Let us know what happens.
