library issues... anyone?

Some Library-related confusion - if anyone has any advice, it'd be much appreciated...

Here's what I did:

1) downloaded demo of 6
2) elected to sort out the "library location" later (when truly upgrading to 6)
3) selected "desktop" as default location just as a temporary measure

Here's what happened next:

1) bunch of folders & presets appear on desktop (no surprises there)
2) loved 6 and upgraded!
3) wanted to add some chord/scale presets to library - but needed to sort out the "library location" issue first

Here's was my first solution:

1) I changed the "library path" to the audio folder that contains my entire audio collecton
2) changing the "library path" didn't move or create library & preset-related folders, so I revealed the package contents to manually install the Basics & the Lessons
3) I tried to "Manage" my Library - but was confronted with a "Nested Projects" error


So... Here's my confusion/problems/questions:

1) What is Nesting?
2) Is there a cleaner way to RE-install the Library?
3) If so - is there an ideal location?
4) If not (and I have to manually relocate stuff) what should be in the Library, apart from the "Basics" & the Lessons?
5) How do I integrate all my old Live 5 presets, etc - now that the option to automatically do it appears to have passed?


From what I can tell I'm not the only one with these/similar issues... it's not beyond me to trial & error this problem - but since my main Audio Library has become entagled in this I don't want to go blindly messing....

Any help?

One possibility among many:

1) every Live folder may have only 1 'Ableton Project Info' folder.
The Library has one, so no other projects can be in that folder or any of its
subfolders.

2) I don't know - I made mine manually
3) on your audio partition or unique partition

Answered it all!

Just to check it - I just tried dragging my old Live 5 Operator Presets folder into the new Live 6 Presets folder and... Voila! There they are!
