I currently have a laptop running Live connected to an Allen & Heath 3D mixer.
What I want is to record the A&H mixer output. An extra soundcard on my computer is out of the question (I have tried this and my laptop don't like all the USB connections)
So can you guys recommend me a minidisc/mp3 player (or something similar) that records high quality audio (preferably trough an optical cable)? It would be great if it had "lots" of room for storage and easily connected to my computer for editing the mix afterwards.
