Time Signature change in Live

Does anybody know how to change the time signature within a song in live?
My friend sent me a score and it changes from 4/4 to 3/4 and back into 4/4 within the midi clips. I realize that time signature cannot be automated and don't want to render the parts that are 4/4 and 3/4 and paste them together in protools or goldwave cuz that'd be lame. anyone know how to do this?

don't use the grid for bars, only 1/4 notes
