There are two clips on a track that seem to make all audio stop ( from all clips/tracks) if i start them back and forth. But weirdly the meters ( are all behaving as if the clips were playing. Only the master won't react ( no input seems to be going to master). I tryed to look around and nothing else seems wrong. I'm using live 2 with an IMac G4 800. I guess i'm doing something wrong but i don't know what..
I'm gonna be performing with that particular live set wednesday ( it is my first show with live) and this is making me kinda anxious.
Any help would be greatly welcomed.
THanks
Bo
AUdio stops
It just seems that audio won't get to the master track, works on all other channels. I checked all the busses. It also happens with other clips, when i fire back and forth between them with keyboard ( midi). And than audio cuts. If i save, it remains cutted, otherwise i can get back to older file but it will still cut after i do fire them.
This is getting me really nervous as my show is in two days.

I managed to get through the show yesterday ! I think i've found why audio stops, but I'd still like to know why it happens. After some tests ( and after having rebuild the live set from scratch) i came to the conclusion that the audio cutted when I launched some clips because of a "popping" noise that pushed the master over the limit. ( I know some of you reported similar issues as far as the popping noise is concerned when launching some clips.) What I did was put a limiter on the master as well as keeping the master level at about a bit over half power and it didn't happen again.
Is there a clipping protection in live that cuts the master down to zero?
Thanks
